vroom vroom

Goldie is officially mobile, people. It started with a little bit of rocking on her hands and knees, then progressed to some slow motion crawling. Now? She crawls. fast.

Nothing is safe, anything small and dangerous enough to suit her tastes goes into her mouth thhat doubles as a gummy steel trap that I have to pry open and risk my fingers being chomped off by the two wiley choppers of death to get out the three year old gummy bear wrapped in Davey's chest hair before she swallows it and gets a chewy man-hairball disease.

But isn't she cute?

Super Pooper

Davey has been super excited about finally getting the shed of his dreams this week. It was supposed to be a kit for us to put together, but the agency we bought it from said that the interns needed practice and offered to put it up for free.

Awesome.

So, they show up on Sat. and work until after 7 pm. We fed them well. I mean we bought weiners from gartner's and everything as a sign of our appreciation. We even let them in the house for the facilities. The only problem is that the workers? they poop. in my bathroom. and. do not turn on the fan.

Also no one has washed their hands (dry sink people, dry sink!)

Oh my shit, do they poop. I have never met a group of people who poop so much. Could it be the hotdogs?

Maybe I am just really uptight about pooping. As in, I drove home from work to go to avoid the public bathroom.

I should let Davey know that operation clean the bowl starts as soon as these guys leave.

I was introduced last week to one of the unexpected occupational hazards of Goldie having teeth. She bites. My Boobs. Hard. I don't understand it, one day the sharp little razors of death poke through her gums and I am feeling all sorry for her and snuggling and the next? She is sharpening those newly emerged needles into my tender lady bits. And if that wasn't enough punishment, after she slices me open, the baby? She smiles. Big. And it is so amazingly cute I can't even get mad. Sigh.
