Still no tooth. Christ on a cracker, I hope it comes soon. I am parlaying my efforts as domestic goddess into laundry today. It appears that when it comes to housework, I am a failure. I have this vision of having a house where it looks like real people live there. Without crap on the table, a clean floor, junk nonexistant. Is this really as impossible as it seems? How have others achieved this? It can't be as difficult as I feel it is!

I dreamt of my dad last night. Long, strange dream, but it turned out that he wasn't dead after all. We just thought he was. I could smell him, touch him, he was real indeed. Then I woke up. Bizarre.

Where did my sweet baby go?

And who is this screaming, drooling, shrieking, unpleasant little person in her place? This one doesn't smile much and is trying to bring forth a monstrous tooth that will surely eat her head. This blows.

Up to my neck....

in baby clothes!! Holy crap. I mean, I have some really cute new stuff that she got for Christmas, that is one thing. But the boxes and boxes and MORE FREAKING BOXES of clothes that friends are dropping off to sort, box and find a home for is in-freaking-credible. No baby needs 500 pairs of pants. Or 10 bajillion onesies. Help. Am. Drowning. In. Cuteness.

God bless biter biscuits

I can now eat a full dinner without shaking toys, bouncing my knee whilst juggling a baby or making silly faces. That is all.

I was reminded this evening that I have not blogged in an ice age so here I am....back in action! My offspring is happily sleeping off her big day of swim lessons and napping.

She is enrolled in this super-organic sort of swim school for babies called Swimbabes where they promise to teach your kid to roll over in case they fall into a pool or lake or something. For $25 a week, they better teach her something. Christ on a cracker.

In non-Goldie related news, I have renewed my commitment to stop looking 6 months pregnant by summer. Gym and weight watchers for me baby. I am so hungry I might eat the baby though.

A woman at my church has answered my valentines day prayer by offering to keep G tommorow night so we can have some sweet mama-daddy time which will most likely involve Thai Food and a movie. Dinner at like, 4:00 so we can pick up the babe by 7:30.

The most boring entry ever, but so there, I don't have an interesting life anymore......la la la
